We are seeking an experienced Digital Production Artist to build mechanical art for print and digital assets, at our in-house Creative Production Studio. You will be a part of a fast paced Production Studio Team, working side by side with fellow Digital Production Artists (DPAs), who are experts at their craft. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for supporting the Creative team by ensuring that all final files for print production or digital delivery are precisely accurate and trouble-free for the intended delivery of the final piece, while maintaining the integrity of the Creative's vision, and upholding brand consistency across a variety of assets.

The Digital Production Artist is responsible to help meet production deadlines. This position calls for extreme flexibility and creative problem solving, in an ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Building pixel-perfect mechanicals for digital delivery of banners, emails, and webpages.

• Creating technically-correct files to go directly to pre-press house or printer, for print projects including Direct Mail, Catalogs, Store Signage, and Promotional Marketing Materials

• Ensuring the quality of all assets created by the Creative Production Team are in alignment with technical specifications for the desired end usage.

• Implementing sometimes repetitive rounds of changes consistently and with absolute accuracy, while maintaining a positive sense of humor.

• Actively participating in, and providing input for continuous improvement (i.e. system bugs and issues) with workflow processes and procedures.

Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of procedures and workflow for graphic design, writing, editing, proofing, and advanced print- and digital- production.

• Strong knowledge in best practices, workflow, production, template development, and file preparation for a variety of end-usages, both online and offline.

• Power user fluent in Macintosh Adobe Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.

• Top-notch Print and Digital Production Artist skills with a keen sense of typography, layout and design.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workloads under intense and shifting deadlines.

• Thorough knowledge of a large variety of printing processes and production of print and digital media, creating and prepping files for press and online delivery, with hands-on electronic production and layout of all types of digital graphic advertising and collateral marketing materials.

• Ability to maintain schedules and process high volumes of complex information among multiple projects in a highly dynamic and flexible environment delivering projects on-time, with tight deadlines, within or under budget.

• Possess a love of graphic design, composition, and beautiful typography, and understand their practical applications in business communications

• Comfortable under pressure and with the pace and high-quality expectations of professional agency environments and deadlines while maintaining a sense of humor.

• Maintain high standards of quality while also implementing tools and processes to promote efficiency and fastest turn-around.

• Set up templates for projects and work closely with Creative team to design and produce banners, emails, and web pages, direct mail pieces, catalogs, signage, and marketing materials.

• Experience working with and adhering to file naming conventions, servers, file, and digital asset management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, as well as with a variety of team members, to achieve goals established in a team environment.

• Ability to maintain schedules in a highly dynamic and flexible environment with tight deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• 3-5 years of mechanical production experience in an agency environment, delivering mechanicals for a variety of end usages, both online and offline.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

•Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company’s Fremont, California corporate office with flexibility based on project needs
