About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Strategy Director, supporting the Tailored Brands portfolio. This person will report to the Chief Brands Officer and will be responsible for the creation of a multi-year strategy for each brand, oversight of key brand health metrics to ensure strong equity with consumers, and partnering with the Marketing Strategy team to help inform their in-year marketing plans. In this role you’ll also work closely with the Design and Development team and Merchandising teams to track their full-year product strategies and seasonal trends, and incorporate that into our brand strategies, so as to create synergy with how we market our product to customers.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Partners with Product Design to understand seasonal product trends and interpret them for consumer programs.
- Creates multi-year Brand Strategy across the portfolio that reflects brand health goals, consumer sentiment, and forward looking market trends.
- Responsible for overall brand health, maintenance of brand equity with customers, and the creation of initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability of the Tailored Brands portfolio.
- Develops seasonal brand narratives informed by merchandising strategies, customer behavior insights, and consumer trend. These will be the direction for creative teams, brand communication, and partnerships throughout the year.
- Manages customer insights and analysis, including liaising with external research partners to conduct regular fielding of brand perception, consumer behavior, and response to advertising.
- Leads the evolution of brand DNA supporting what each brand represents, customer segmentation, and core guidelines.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail and specifically in apparel.
- Background in working across a portfolio of brands.
- Has shown an understanding of synthesizing consumer insights into a multi-year strategy for brand growth.
- Ability to partner closely with Design and Merchandising and distill their seasonal priorities into a set of brand priorities that can be used by marketing channel leads.

- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from the Dublin California, New York office or remote.

The minimum salary range is $104,300 and the maximum salary range is $173,800. This salary range is specific to Colorado, New York, California, and Washington, and may differ in other locations. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
