We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Brand Manager to join us in our headquarters in Fremont, CA.



The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for providing key assistance to the retail brand marketing team’s initiatives and logistical support to maintain the K&G Brand. This key teammate will provide support on campaigns including the overall coordination and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the brands strategy, commitments and goals for the assigned brand.  The Assistant Brand Manager reports to the Marketing Director and is part of a cross-functional Marketing team that includes CRM, Integrated Marketing, Creative and Advertising Production. The Assistant Brand Manager is also responsible for managing the MARCOM calendar, day-to-day brand support, and tracking of marketing projects with cross functional teams and partners within the organization.  


Key Areas of Responsibility

•Brand Cross-Functional point person for internal and Atlanta Corp teams

•Support brand loyalty programs and initiatives

•Ensure all channel/creative teams are informed of promotional calendar changes

•Work with Direct to Consumer team to kick off projects

•Brief creative and channel teams on seasonal events 

•Manage the MARCOM and GTM calendar 

•Approve all projects before execution

•Report on marketing related customer service issues

•Work with merchandise team and Advertising Production to develop seasonal priorities and shot lists

•Constantly monitor and report on customer reports 

•Assist with customer surveys 


Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications
•2-4 years marketing experience; preferably in retail 
•Project management experience handling marketing briefs, online and offline, direct marketing, advertising, print and promotion projects
•Strong leadership, teamwork, strategic and problem solving skills, including demonstrated track record in managing complex projects across functional lines 
•Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing needs of the business 
•Must be an organized and motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives on working in a fast-paced team environment; very strong campaign management skills 
•Strong oral and written communication skills  
•Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, keen attention to detail
•Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process and procedure instructions
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, vendors and other employees
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
•Four-year Bachelor’s degree

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
•Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company’s Fremont, California corporate office with flexibility based on project needs
