We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Database Developer, CRM & Marketing Systems to join our Information Technology department in Fremont, CA.
Key Accountabilities:
•Work with the internal Database Marketing Team to provide technical expertise on data flow, design and implementation of marketing projects
•Maintain and enhance large customer databases
•Design and develop application interfaces
•Perform data manipulation and analysis of large data sets
•Extract and combine data from multiple data sources
•Support integration of new data sources
•Review and validate input data, data formatting specifications and output requirements
•Insure data quality
•Serve as part of the production support team for the Customer Data platform and its related infrastructure
•Identify and follow-up on any data or processing issues and immediately provide the appropriate notification for resolution
•Create, review, maintain and/or enhance system documentation as needed
•Provide input or recommendations on process or systems improvements and be able to design, test and execute changes
Skills/Abilities/Experience & Qualifications:
Required:
•Strong understanding of marketing concepts in the Retail space and marketing automation tools
•Strong knowledge of relational databases is required: MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Teradata, DB2 experience preferred
•Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures
•Ability to code complex queries against multiple marketing databases
•Experience with exposing real time APIs to customer facing systems
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Results driven, provide world class service to internal and external customers
•Excellent organizational skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time
•Excellent QA and auditing skills, with a commitment to producing high quality results
•Demonstrate ability to enhance and improve systems continuously, as well as adapt and react positively to changing requirements and deadlines.

•Experience using and managing Customer Data Platforms such as AgilOne
•Experience using and managing Customer Loyalty Platforms
•Exposure to marketing real time decision systems
•Experience with Windows batch file scripting

•Experience with ETL tools
•Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting language
•Experience with Azure, AWS, Redshift, Snowflake
•Ability, to code Web Services, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST a plus
Physical and Mental Requirements:
•Ability to work for prolonged periods of time while operating computer and telephone equipment
•Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company’s Fremont, CA Executive Office.
