Position Summary
Pressers are responsible for safely and consistently pressing garments during the alteration process.
Key Accountabilities
· Safely operate equipment including, but not limited to, a utility press, coat tensioner, lapel press, pant utility press, pant topper, puff iron, Nt-2, and shirt utility press
· Handle and sort garments to move through the production process
· Advise management of any breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately to ensure good routine preventive maintenance on all equipment
· Promote safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment and report all safety issues requiring corrective action
· Maintain a clean and neat work environment
· Contribute to building a positive team spirit and support the company’s goals and objectives
· Available to work in all areas of production, as needed
· Performs other related duties and assignments as required

· Must be 18 years of age or older
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
· Standing, walking, sitting, reaching and working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling
· Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing
· Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment
· Ability to work at least 40+ hours per week with flexibility based on business needs
· Regular and on-time attendance
