1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Overtime as needed)
Responsiblities
-
The goal of the Vendor Receiving will be to ensure timely processing of new Purchase Order Receipts in a manner that meets company standards for accuracy, safety, security, and productivity.

Use proper CTPAT procedures receiving containers as they arrive.
-
Load and unload merchandise from inbound trailers and containers.
-
Report any damaged to product found in unloading process to supervisor.
-
Receive and stage inbound merchandise using standard operating procedures.
-
Wireless RF Technology is used to execute tasks in vendor receiving.
-
Closely monitor to insure inventory in vendor boxes is accurate. Product labels are present and no damaged product is found.

Issues should be reported to supervisor.

Build and locate pallets of product by Purchase Order.
-
Perform audit process to insure vendor advance ship information matches physical content, report issues to supervisor.
-
Based on pre-determined processing method process purchase order units to product sorters or put-away to back stock.

Move product from vendor receiving in a safe and efficient manner
-
Ability to use scanner or RF guns.
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Must be detail oriented and ensure all merchandise is proceeding properly.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Skills, Abilities, Experience and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
-
Ability to meet deadlines/productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.
-
Good attendance/punctuality record; consistently at work and on time.

Ability to learn new skills and follow directions.
-
Good math, counting, and problem-solving skills.
-
Must be customer service oriented.
-
Good verbal communication skills.
-
Must be able to understand spoken and written English to perform necessary job functions.

Good organizational skills.

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Must have excellent attention to detail while maintaining accuracy.

Must maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times with the highest level of customer service.

Individual must be Safety conscious.

Working knowledge in the use of warehouse technology including radio-frequency (RF) scanners to perform daily functions is a plus.

Previous warehouse/distribution/production experience helpful.

Basic knowledge of computer PC skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is helpful.

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
-
Ability to work in a warehouse environment setting with physical demands that include continuous standing, walking, use of hands and fingers, grasping, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, crawling, pulling, pushing, working and reaching overhead, using ladders or lifts, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more.

Ability to use handling equipment and machinery including sorter systems, conveyors, RF guns, metal hooks, plastic bags, plastic packaging, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of our merchandise.

Dependable team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done and flexible in scheduling is required based on business needs (i.e.; increased hours, weekends, holidays, and volume of work, staffing shortages, etc.).

Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Must be able to work in all areas of production.
