Position Summary:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Network Analyst who will manage and coordinate IT activities for New, Relocating, Remodeling, Expanding and Closing stores for all divisions.


Key Accountabilities:

· Create and manage all requests for projects with various company departments and teams.  This includes the Windows team, store changes team, POS equipment team, IT Support Services, Network Services and the Corporate Procurement team.

· Order circuit and phone lines with carriers and third party vendors assuring prompt delivery of these services.

· Schedule the Retail Service Providers/Tech Vendors and review with them the scope of work they will perform for each project which includes store closure procedures. 

· Order store phone boards, phone system, phones and telecommunications materials for these projects.

· Liaise between the IT Department and Store Development and keep the lines of communications open.

· Review construction schedules weekly to create and update work orders that other departments in IT need to work and complete.

· Analyze scope of work and floor plans with construction project managers for each project.

· Track and confirm delivery of IT equipment provided by the IT department and other vendors.

· Review and confirm order and scope of work with telecommunication vendors for all new stores, relocations and closures on a weekly basis.

· Review and code vendor invoices and process payments.

· Track and analyze issues that create increased costs and work a plan to reduce them.

· Create and manage the budget for the IT side of the projects.

· Work with construction project managers to review SOW for each location.

· Provide technical vendors with shipping schedule so work can be scheduled accordingly.

· Escalate issues that arise during installation of equipment if necessary.

· Special projects and on-going tasks as needed.


Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

· Experience in telecom preferred

· Effective communication with vendors and at all levels within the organization: written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

· Ability to perform in a fast paced environment.

· Organizational, negotiating, planning, and analytical skills.

· Multi-task and prioritizing skills to complete projects within deadlines, with quality results.

· Project management skills a plus.

 

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands:

· Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

· Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis

· Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally

· Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

· Ability to work at least 40 hours per week from the Company’s Houston, Texas corporate office
