Senior Store Manager

As a Senior Store Manager, you are expected to be a coach and a store selling and operational director.  You must facilitate the consistent performance of the appropriate benchmark selling behaviors and team selling.   Creating a positive, high quality work environment is critical.  As the store operational director you must ensure that your inventory is controlled, your tailor shop well managed, and all other operations in your store run smoothly.  In addition to your store responsibilities, you will serve a leadership role in the region by assisting your Regional Manager in the following ways: training new Wardrobe Consultants and Training Managers in your region; assisting with inventory, sales audit, bridal shows and recruiting at the request of your multi-unit team. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high quality work environment for all employees.
  • Coach, observe, and facilitate the selling process with retail and tuxedo rental customers
  • Personally deal with employee performance concerns and disciplinary problems in your store
  • Ensure your store consistently demonstrates the benchmark selling techniques and continuously encourage and participate in team selling.
  • Conduct interviews and make recommendations to multi-unit managers regarding hiring, discipline, promotions, reviews, pay increases, and terminations.
  • Ensure all new hires timely complete all required new hire forms and view Star-Cast training modules.
  • Work with your Zone Tailor to select and manage an effective team production system for your tailor shop.
  • Ensure alterations are done correctly and completed as promised.

Requirements:

  • Prior Store Manager experience.
  • Must have the approval of your Regional Sales Director and Zone Vice President
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally all written and verbal instructions with coworkers and customers.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, which may include working any of the hours the store is in operation , at least two closing shift per week, Saturday’s , and six days per week during peak periods
  • Travel as needed to assist with inventory, training, sales audit, bridal shows and recruiting at the request of your multi-unit team.
